The Burren Artist Residency

In May 2022 I was invited to become one of the artists in residence at the Burren Art College in Ballyvaughan, County Clare. During the 6 weeks residency, I connected with the dramatic granite landscape surrounding the college and explored the spectacular Wild Atlantic coastline producing a large body of studies and full paintings. I continued to develop these works when I returned to England. These are some of the paintings which came out of that residency.
